I'm feeling pretty good about committing to writing 300 words a day! Today, I wrote 83 words just waiting for my sister-in-law to get ex-rays taken. I used a prompt to get me going. The prompt is "He hadn't seen the old man since..." I intend to write the remaining 217 words tonight.
Where the story seems to be going is that it is a man named Jason who is seeing his father for the the first time since the father had been led to prison from the courtroom 10 years before. I'm not sure what the father did yet...Jason may be visiting his father in prison, his father may have just been released after serving a 10 year sentence, he may have escaped, or he may have been released after it was found out that he was wrongfully imprisoned.
That's one of the wonderful things about writing. Even when you think you know where you want the story to go, it has a way of leading you where it wants to go! It's an adventure!
